He has a Ph.D. in Political Science from FU University in Berlin, Germany.Dr. Gharibi joined Ministry of foreign Affairs of I. R. of Iran in 1992. His last post before being appointed as the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Portugal was Deputy for Executive Affairs of the Iran’s Supreme National Council.
